Here are a few of the potential complications that might arise from wearing them too often:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wearing dentures too often fosters a favorable environment for bacteria to grow underneath. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stomatitis can develop, which weakens the body\u2019s immune system, increasing your chances of getting sick.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Since dentures apply pressure to the gum tissues and your jawbone ridges that support them, it can accelerate bone resorption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not taking out your dentures prevents them from being cleaned or maintained as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, dentures shouldn\u2019t be worn all of the time, but rather, most of the time.
